R.L. Burnside - Someday Baby
(Unofficial video)

This song was released on his 2004 album, A Bothered Mind, and Burnside died a year later at the age of 78. I haven't found the rest of his music to be anything like this track. Granted though, I haven't listed to a lot of it. What stood out the most when I was reading about him is that he once killed a man over a game of dice. Brutal. He was convicted of murder and sentenced to six months in prison, but his boss was able to pull some strings and get the sentence shortened (as if six months isn't already a short enough amount of time to spend incarcerated for killing someone) because R.L. was such a good tractor driver.

Miike Snow - Pretender

The music video for this song is pretty weird and I really don't like it at all. The song is great though. This one was released on their 2012 album, Happy To You.

You might have also heard their song, Animal. It was released back in 2009 and was pretty popular in the UK I guess.

This one was released on their New Heaven album back in 2011, but I feel like it never really got the attention it deserved. To be honest, I never listened to the rest of the album until just now... and it turns out I wasn't missing much. Still though, this one track is good.
